Our Mission

As the mastermind behind Captivate Media, Justin uses his knowledge and creativity to effectively drive projects from the initial concept to delivery. Justin has been in the industry since 2013 and has had the opportunity to work with businesses and organizations spanning from local to global. He really enjoys working with nonprofit organizations that work in the community, as he’s able to help give them a voice to gain support and engagement.

Justin enjoys vacationing and spending time with his two daughters.

Justin really cares about the community and is currently serving on several nonprofit boards.

Tessa works on a wide range of videos, both in the field during production and in the office for post-production. She also spearheads Captivate Media’s podcast productions.

Tessa graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2018, with her BA in Media and Technology Studies and Media Production. She was a D1 athlete as part of the rowing team. Her two cats, Kiko and Chirba, keep things interesting. She has a huge appreciation for fashion and a great sense of style.

In her spare time, she enjoys crafting and renovating homes.

Leslie is a filmmaker based in North Carolina. She is a first-generation college graduate from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Studies. She has experience working on collaborative and independent projects at every step of the production process. Previously, she worked in the news industry, producing visual concepts to communicate stories from the Triad community. While working in the news industry, she edited multiple Emmy-nominated stories alongside veteran Emmy-winning producers, anchors, reporters, and photographers. As a Video Editor and Video Producer at Captivate Media, her experience allows her to capture her client’s message and brand expertly. She can provide her clients with unique, captivating, and personalized work using the latest industry-standard technology and editing software. In her future and current creations, she hopes to create meaningful, communicative, and relatable work.

Gurbir is a multifaceted creative with an impressive portfolio that spans multiple disciplines, he has carved out a niche as a photographer, published author, and corporate brand strategist.

 As a celebrated photographer, Gurbir specializes in headshots, event photography, travel & culture photography, and portraiture. He brings a strong analytical mindset to his work, rooted in a solid background in engineering. Gurbir has led successful brand-building initiatives for numerous organizations, leveraging his expertise to craft compelling visual identities and elevate brand presence in competitive markets.

 Gurbir’s travel and culture photography reflects a profound curiosity and respect for the world's rich tapestry of cultures. His work invites viewers to explore new perspectives and understand the human experience through a lens of empathy. In the realm of portraiture and headshots, he excels at creating engaging images that convey personality. Gurbir's published works include three best-selling coffee table books that have garnered critical acclaim for their exceptional quality and visual impact.
