Brannon Carty

Carty edits videos, and also assists on various client shoots in any capacity that he can. Carty graduated from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2020, with a BA in Media Studies. He was one of the driving forces behind the university's own film production and film watching clubs: Carmichael Studios and the Spartan Film Society. While he enjoys every aspect of filmmaking, his main passion is cinematography. His favorite movie is Jaws and he drinks up to eight cups of coffee a day. In his spare time, he enjoys preserving vintage media such as LaserDisc, 16mm, etc. He also enjoys making documentaries with his filmmaking friends.

Constance Reynolds

Constance works in the field of people. As Director of Business Development, she initiates conversations that lead to lasting partnerships with Captivate. Constance received her BA in Theatre from the University of North Carolina Greensboro in 2013, and is a SAG-AFTRA actor. She spent six years in school accounting before joining the team at Captivate, so she understands the importance of finding effective solutions for clients with regard to their bottom line.

Constance enjoys cooking, independent filmmaking, and hair-twirling. Above all, she loves spending time with her amazing family and friends, especially her twin daughters, Tallulah and Lucinda. Her motto is:  "Aspire to inspire before you expire."

Justin Thompson

As the mastermind behind Captivate Media, Justin uses his knowledge and creativity to effectively drive projects from the initial concept to delivery. Justin has been in the industry since 2013 and has had the opportunity to work with businesses and organizations spanning from local to global. He really enjoys working with nonprofit organizations that work in the community, as he’s able to help give them a voice to gain support and engagement.

Justin enjoys vacationing and spending time with his wife and two daughters.

Justin really cares about the community and is currently serving on several nonprofit boards.

Leslie Salvador Vallejo

Leslie is a filmmaker based in North Carolina. She is a first-generation college graduate from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Studies. She has experience working on collaborative and independent projects at every step of the production process. Previously, she worked in the news industry, producing visual concepts to communicate stories from the Triad community. While working in the news industry, she edited multiple Emmy-nominated stories alongside veteran Emmy-winning producers, anchors, reporters, and photographers. As a Video Editor and Video Producer at Captivate Media, her experience allows her to capture her client’s message and brand expertly. She can provide her clients with unique, captivating, and personalized work using the latest industry-standard technology and editing software. In her future and current creations, she hopes to create meaningful, communicative, and relatable work.

Tessa Platek

Tessa works on a wide range of videos, both in the field during production and in the office for post-production. She also spearheads Captivate Media’s podcast productions.

Tessa graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2018, with her BA in Media and Technology Studies and Media Production. She was a D1 athlete as part of the rowing team. Her two cats, Kiko and Chirba, keep things interesting. She has a huge appreciation for fashion and a great sense of style.

In her spare time, she enjoys crafting and renovating homes.
